5. Cancellations and Amendments

Cancellation by You

We understand that travel plans can change, and we’ll always do our best to assist where possible. However, certain cancellation charges apply once your booking is confirmed:

  • After deposit payment: One night’s accommodation per hotel is non-refundable.

  • More than 45 days before arrival: Only the one-night-per-hotel charge applies.

  • 30 to 45 days before arrival: 50% of the total booking cost is non-refundable.

  • Less than 30 days before arrival or no-show: 100% of the booking cost is non-refundable.

All cancellation requests must be made in writing.

We strongly recommend that all travellers obtain comprehensive travel insurance to cover unforeseen cancellations, delays, or changes to your plans.

Amendments by You

We will do our best to accommodate requested changes after booking confirmation. Any additional costs or cancellation fees imposed by suppliers will be passed on to you.

6. Changes or Cancellations by Us

Occasionally, we may need to make changes to your booking or, in rare cases, cancel it.

If we must cancel or significantly alter your package, you will be offered:

  • an alternative package of comparable standard, or

  • a full refund of all monies paid.

Where a significant change or cancellation occurs, you may also be entitled to compensation in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws, unless the change results from circumstances beyond our control (e.g. political unrest, natural disasters, airline schedule changes).

7. Travel Insurance

It is a condition of booking that you have suitable travel insurance to cover medical expenses, cancellation, lost baggage, and other potential risks. We recommend purchasing comprehensive cover at the time of booking.

8. Passports, Visas, and Health Requirements

It is your responsibility to ensure that you possess valid travel documents and meet any health, visa, or entry requirements for Sri Lanka. We cannot accept liability for your inability to travel if you fail to meet these requirements.

9. Our Liability

As the principal organiser, we are responsible for the proper performance of all travel services included in your package, as required by the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018.

If any part of your holiday is not provided as described and this adversely affects your enjoyment, you may be entitled to compensation, except where the failure is:

  • attributable to you or another member of your party,

  • attributable to a third party unconnected with the provision of your package, or

  • due to unusual and unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control.

Our liability shall not exceed the total cost of your booking.

10. Complaints

If you experience any issue during your trip, please inform our local representative or the service provider immediately so that we can attempt to resolve it.

If a problem remains unresolved, you must contact us as soon as possible.

If you are still dissatisfied, please submit your complaint in writing within 28 days of your return to the UK, and we will review it in accordance with our customer service procedures.

11. Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by English law, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.11.
